SHF obtains its wood flooring from the German company Haro which sets great store by
ecologically sustainable, environmentally safe production.
Haro has been certified to DIN EN 14001 and validated to the EU Eco Audit since 1998.
Haro's Blue Angel certification bears further
evidence of their environmental competence. In autumn 2003, Haro was also awarded the PEFC
certificate. In Europe, this certificate is proof that the timber used can be traced and tracked
through the entire product supply chain – called the “chain of custody” – from the certified,
sustainably managed forest all the way through to the final product.
